I apologize for not staying up to date on Kenner's Blog. It has been complicated since we've been moving and dial up internet makes me too impatient, so here you go. This is what has been going on in Kenner's world for the past few months.
Kenner's Universe
Five years ago is when this all began. Brian and I were married on May 3, 2003 in the Denver LDS Temple. We have lived in Colorado, Idaho, and we are currently in Utah. Brian enjoys his job as Dr. Death (Funeral Director) and I enjoy being a full time mom. Our first born son, Kenner, is 2 1/2 and Kameron just joined our family on February 21, 2008. Our love for each other, our children, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ make us keep going every day.

Trip to Bear Lake

We went to Bear Lake on July 22-24.Kenner's Grandparents have some friends that own a condo which we enjoyed staying. When we would eat dinner it was difficult to enjoy our meal while worrying what Kenner was going to get into since we did not have a high chair for him. One night we had an idea of bringing the pack n play out on the balcony and sticking Kenner in it. He loved watching the people play out in the grass and the ball that we were so kind of to put in with him. Luckily we had the camera to catch him pressing his face up against the screen.
We showed Kenner the beauty of sparklers. To be honest, he didn't really care.

This trip was also the first time Kenner went on the boat and wore a life jacket. He liked the boat ride more than the life jacket. Any time he tried to sit up or stand up he would tip over. He couldn't move the way that he would have liked. We even tried taking him on the tube (mommy was reluctant, but talked into). He didn't care for that too much either.

Time to test the water. After two seconds of testing it, Kenner told us he didn't like it.
First Independence Day!
Kenner enjoyed his first Fourth of July Celebration with Grandparents and Mommy and Daddy. The big celebration took place on the Saturday before when we went to the Stadium of Fire at BYU Stadium. Mommy and Daddy regret not bringing the camera for all the surprises that caught Kenner. The jets flying over us, and of course, the large firework display. The first fireworks that went with the show inside the stadium scared Kenner and made him cling tight to his daddy. The jets made such a loud noise and shook the ground that Kenner had no idea what to think. Once the big firework show started, Kenner was amuzed for the first few, but obviously didn't care anymore because he fell asleep through it all.
On the actual holiday we moved into our new home (exciting, huh). Grandma and Grandpa Lund helped us move and joined us for a barbcue dinner afterwards. Kenner had a horsey ride to sum up his evening.
Swing Away

Looking cute as can be on Grandma Taz's swing. If I would walk to the back door, which leads out to the swing and then turn around walking away from the door, Kenner, knowing the swing is outside the door, would throw a screaming fit. Needless to say, he likes the swing.
However, he does not like to wear hats as you can see.
Going....
Going....

Gone.
